1 March: For a change, socks

Just in case you thought I'd been neglecting the knitting lately, here's the latest pair of socks.

At the last Guild workshop, a friend was knitting some self-striping socks, and wondering what to do with the leftovers. Well, this is what I've done with my leftovers. Makes a change from mittens.

I know it's not cool to wear socks with sandals, but it would be such a shame to cover these up.
Perhaps we could start a new fashion.

I really like the fact they don't match, very cool.

kaz - free spirits can do anything they want!

Hello todaysdaze - another "old timer"? I like things that are unique, particularly handmade things. The tops and toes match, though, so I can pair them up after the wash.

They are very groovy.

I'm worried about what "self-striping" socks are though. We tried some tartan paint once and it was useless.

Yes, I like the non-matchingness of them too. I don't wear socks, but I'd wear those.
